    William Hintz purchased the Huber House, a 1920's mail-order Sears home in Minocqua in the spring of 2003. Over the next 5 months, Mr. Hintz took great care in restoring, and redecorating this historic home taking great care to keep the historic integrity intact. Over the years the Huber House served not only as a private residence, but as a gift store and even Minocqua's first hospital.

    The home offers incomparable views from nearly every room, swimming area and pier equipped with a rowboat and canoe across the street, and is conveniently located 1 block off Main Street. Right next door at Bosaki's Boat House and Restaurant, one may rent motors, wave runners, and pontoon boats. Downtown shopping, bars, restaurants, Minocqua's own waterski show, Trophy Park and Bearskin Trail with hiking, biking, and snowmobile trails is all just a short walk away. A large parking area in the back of the home provides ample space for a boat and snowmobile trailers.

  • Rental Rates and Deposit Information
    • 7/1- Labor Day Weekly Rentals Only.
    • $1500/week based upon 8 people or less.
    • Additional people charged $15/day with a maximum of 10 total guests.
    • Off Season-- 3 night minimum stay at a $295/night based upon 8 guests.
    • Weekly and nightly rates discounted 20% excluding holidays and special events.
    • Long Term and monthly rates available on request.
    • $500 deposit due within 7 days of making reservation including $200 security and damage deposit.
    • Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
    • Personal and cashiers checks only.
    • Security Deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure assuming no damage to home and household items.
    • Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to arrival or deposit will be forfeited.
